Neurosoft

Neurosoft Sp. z o.o. was established in November 1992 as a spin-off of workers and graduates of University of Wroclaw and Wroclaw University of Technology. Our distinctive signs are artificial neural networks and our main objective is to use artificial intelligence in practice.

Intermingling issues concealing artificial intelligence e.g. speech analysis and synthesis, image processing (character recognition) and natural language processing conjointly with unorthodox data processing techniques give qualitatively new solution within the interface between a man and a machine.

Created technologies are the basis of our products and solutions dedicated to processing and distribution of information presented in various forms and formats (text, sound, image, videogram). 

Particularly important applications of our technologies are these connected to intelligent transport and road safety systems. Currently we are the only company offering commercial solutions for complex identification (number plate, make, model, color) of vehicles in motion on the basis of image analysis.


Role In The Project

Neurosoft participates in work packages addressing traffic data collecting and data processing. Neurosoft will use existing road ITS infrastructure in Wroclaw extended by weight sensors and leaser sensor as a basis for data collection and freight managements solutions.

Key contributions

Neurosoft adapts his advanced methods of image analysis to the project: technologies based on detection of vehicle's presence, number plate recognition (ANPR), model and colour recognition (MMR) and automatic recognition of dangerous goods plates (ADR). Those techniques extended with data collected from other traffic telematics devices will be processed in as final information for road users by using solutions provided by partners in the project.
